081 A Bully Romance
Title: A Bully Romance
Studio: Terry
Date: 6/16/39
Credits: -
Series: Gandy Goose
Running time (of viewed version): 6:27
Synopsis: Gandy remembers a lost love with a lot of bull.
Comments: The music is believably ethnic. Told in flashback. Gandy is a man goose (as opposed to being a boy goose) in this, as he had in the past been romancing a Mexican she goose. I think the bull has Sourpuss's voice, but in Spanish. Again this cartoon feels significantly older than its year. The bull raises a white flag of surrender and waves it; on his horn instead of his tail, but years and years before Bully for Bugs. The black duck sidekick ends with the line "S-s-s-some bull".
